What to expect from supporting methods

For decades, creative professionals have developed methods, practices, and processes designed to manage complexity. In this group, we cover them one by one, focusing on what you, as a project sponsor, can expect each one to do for you.

Beware of “religious fights” where preachers of one concept argue for superiority over others.  If the superiority is not set in a specific context, the discussion is absurd. They have all demonstrated success, somewhere, in a certain context. You should consider them all as available tools in your toolbox, and expect your program/project managers to be able to pick the right one for the right context.
